Gracely Accounting FAQ

Quick answers about Gracely Accounting: plans, treasurer access, giving, bank sync, payroll, QuickBooks, and exports.

Quick answers to the questions churches ask most about Gracely Accounting.

Which plan includes Accounting?

Accounting is a Pro plan feature. See Understanding Gracely Plans.

Can I give my treasurer access without giving them everything?

Yes. Create a custom role with access to Accounting and invite them with it. They'll see the books without touching the rest. See How to create custom user roles.

Will my giving double-count in accounting?

No. Gifts to a connected fund flow into your books automatically, so don't add them again as manual income entries. Record only money that doesn't come through Giving, like rent or fundraiser income. See Connecting giving to accounting.

Does Gracely have bank sync?

Yes. Connect a US or UK bank account through Stripe and pull its transactions into Gracely. Each one goes through a quick review where you pick the fund and category before it lands in your books, and anything you've already recorded shows as Matched so nothing is entered twice. See Connecting your bank account and syncing transactions.

Does Gracely do payroll?

No. You can record salary payments as expenses, but payroll itself (taxes, pay stubs, filings) needs a payroll service. See Does Gracely offer payroll?

Can I connect QuickBooks?

A QuickBooks integration is coming. Most churches find they no longer need it once their books live in Gracely, but if you want to keep QuickBooks, the sync will make that easy. See QuickBooks Integration.

Can I export my data?

Yes. Every report exports, including Transaction Detail, which lists every entry. Your data is always yours.
