How to generate bulk tax statements

Generating tax statements in bulk helps you stay organized, compliant, and ready for year-end reporting. In Gracely, you can generate statements for all donors at once with just a few clicks.

Step 1: Go to Giving

From the left sidebar, click Contributions → Giving.
This is where all donations, summaries, and reports live.

Step 2: Open the actions menu

In the top-right corner of the Giving page, click the three-dot menu (•••).
From the dropdown, select Print statements.

Step 3: Choose who the statements are for

In the Generate Statement modal, select one of the following options:

  • All members (Individual statements)
Each donor receives their own statement.

  • All members (Grouped by family)
Donations are grouped into one statement per family.

  • Donors without member profile
Useful for visitors or one-time donors.

Tip: If you want statements for specific people only, go to the People page and use bulk actions there.

Step 4: Select the time period

Choose the time frame for the statements.
Most churches select This year for annual tax statements.

Step 5: Generate statements

Click Generate.
Gracely will prepare all statements based on your selections.

Step 6: Review and print

You’ll see a preview of the generated statement, including:

  • Donor and church details

  • Date range

  • Donation list with funds and methods

  • Deductible and non-deductible totals

  • Final total amount

When ready, click Print statement to download or print.

What’s included in each statement

Each tax statement automatically includes:

  • Church name and address

  • Donor name and address

  • Giving period

  • Itemized donations

  • Deductibility status

  • Required contribution disclaimer

No manual formatting needed.

Good to know

  • Only deductible funds are counted as deductible on the statement.

  • Non-deductible gifts are listed separately.

  • Statements reflect exactly what’s recorded in Giving, so always review entries before generating.
