Short answer: no. Gracely does not include payroll or payroll processing. If you need to pay staff, you'll want a dedicated payroll provider running alongside Gracely.
What Gracely's finance tools do cover
While payroll isn't part of Gracely, our finance tools handle the money side of church life:
Giving and contributions — online and in-person donations
Funds — designate where gifts go
Pledges — track commitments over time
Batches — group and reconcile deposits
Tax statements — year-end giving statements for your members
Accounting — a chart of accounts, income & expense tracking, and reports
Your giving also flows straight into the accounting feature, so contributions show up in your books without double entry. You can learn more in How to Use Gracely's Accounting Feature and Connecting giving to accounting.
What about paying staff?
For running payroll specifically — calculating wages, withholding taxes, and issuing paychecks — you'll use a dedicated payroll provider. Gracely handles your giving, funds, and accounting; your payroll provider handles paychecks. Many churches run both side by side.
