Members sign in to the Church Portal without a password. You enter your email address, and Gracely sends a 6-digit code to confirm it's you. If you see the error "No church access found for this email address" at the code step (in the portal or the My Gracely app), it means the email you entered isn't linked to any church yet.
What the error means
The email address you typed isn't connected to a church in Gracely. This usually comes down to one of two things:
The email isn't listed in the church's People at all.
The person existed, but their access was later removed.
Either way, there's no church record tied to that email, so Gracely has nothing to log you in to.
How to fix it
1. Double-check the email address (most common fix)
By far the most frequent cause is a typo or an alternate email. Make sure you're entering the exact email address the church has on file for you. If you have more than one email (for example, a personal and a work address), try the other one. A single wrong character means Gracely can't find your record.
2. Ask a church admin to add you in People
If your email genuinely isn't in the system yet, a church admin needs to add you. Once someone at your church creates your record in People using that email address, you'll be able to log in with it. For admins, see How to create, edit, and delete a person.
3. If your access was removed, ask to be re-added
If you used to be able to log in and now can't, your access may have been removed. A church admin can add you back in People with your email address to restore access.
For church admins helping a member
If a member reports this error, confirm the email on their record matches what they're typing, and make sure they have a record in People at all. For a full walkthrough of the login process and common login problems, see How Members Log In to the Church Portal and How to help a member who can't log in.
