How to help a member who can’t log in

If someone in your church is having trouble logging in to the My Gracely app, here’s a quick checklist you can use to help them.

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting

1. Check if the person exists in your People list

  • Go to People in Gracely.

  • Search by name or email to confirm they’re added.

2. Confirm the correct email is attached

  • Make sure their email address is:

    • Present

    • Spelled correctly

    • Unique (not shared with another profile)

3. Fix any typos or formatting issues

  • No extra spaces

  • No capital letters in the domain (e.g., @Gmail.Com@gmail.com)

  • Must be a real email (not blank or fake)

Common Messages & Fixes

  • “We can’t find your account” → Email not in the database

  • No login code received → Email might be missing or incorrect

  • Code not working → Try resending and check spam folders

After Fixing It

Once the profile is correct:

  • Ask the member to re-open the app and try logging in again.

  • If needed, have them delete and reinstall the app.
