This article gives your team a complete picture of what members can do once they download My Gracely.
My Gracely is a free mobile app (iPhone and Android) built for your church members. It connects directly to your Gracely system, so members can stay involved with church life all week long, without staff having to help at every step.
What members can do
1. Give to your church
Make donations to your funds with a debit or credit card.
Choose one-time or recurring gifts.
Optionally cover processing fees to help your church keep more of each gift.
2. View events and register
Browse upcoming events in the Calendar tab.
Open an event to see the time, location, and description.
Register for free events or buy tickets for paid ones, right from the app.
3. Update their profile
Edit name, birthday, marital status, gender, baptism date, contact info, profile photo, and custom fields.
This keeps your records accurate with far less manual entry from staff.
4. View family information (My Family)
See everyone in their household.
Review the family's giving, attendance, and form submissions.
5. Review giving history (My Giving)
See past online and offline gifts.
View totals and filter by fund.
6. Submit and track forms
Fill out registration forms, prayer requests, and any other form your church publishes.
See the status and history of what they've submitted.
7. Join and view groups
See which ministries and small groups they belong to.
View group leaders and members.
8. Member Directory
Browse your church's directory under More → Member Directory.
Three tabs: Members, Families, and Birthdays.
From a member's card, members can tap to Call, SMS, Email, or open the Map for an address, when that person has chosen to share those details.
💡 Tip: The directory respects each person's privacy. Members can hide their photo, email, phone, or address. Hidden details are removed before they ever reach another member's phone, and the matching action (Call/SMS/Email/Map) disappears with them. See "Controlling your privacy in the My Gracely app."
9. In-app Chat
Members can message their groups from the Chat tab.
Group chats appear automatically based on the groups a member belongs to. If a member isn't in any group with chat, the Chat tab shows "No Chat Rooms Yet."
10. Read announcements
Church announcements appear on the Home screen and under More → Announcements.
11. Find church info
The More screen shows your church's contact details and footer message.
Directory privacy is controlled by the church and the member
Church-wide switch: Turn the directory on or off for everyone in Settings → Church → Defaults → "Portal Member Directory" ("Allow members to view directory of other members").
Per-member controls: Each member decides whether their photo, email, phone, and address appear. Every field is visible by default, members opt out of anything they'd rather hide.
⚠️ Note: The member directory turns on for all churches on June 30, 2026.
