How to cancel your trial or subscription

Cancelling a paid plan or free trial is self-serve from Church Settings — here's how, plus what happens to your access and data.

Cancelling a paid plan is self-serve — there's no need to contact support. You can cancel your subscription (or let a free trial end) directly from your account in just a couple of clicks.

How to cancel your subscription

  1. Go to Church Settings → Subscription.

  2. On the Free plan card, click Downgrade.

  3. Confirm your choice in the dialog that appears.

What happens after you cancel

  • Your cancellation is scheduled for the end of your current billing period — you keep full paid access until then.

  • When that period ends, your account moves automatically to the Free plan.

  • Your data is not deleted. Paid-plan features simply become unavailable until you upgrade again.

  • Changed your mind? You can reverse a pending cancellation anytime by clicking Resume on the Subscription page.

Cancelling a free trial

If you're on a free trial, you have two options: simply let the trial end, or downgrade the same way described above. Either way, you won't be charged, and your account moves to the Free plan.

Cancelling only an add-on

The SMS and Custom Domain add-ons have their own separate Cancel buttons on the Subscription page. If you only want to drop an add-on — but keep your paid plan — use those buttons instead of downgrading.
