This article explains push notifications in My Gracely and how to turn them on or off.
What you'll be notified about
My Gracely can send push notifications for:
Announcements from your church.
Event reminders for upcoming church events.
Tapping a notification takes you straight to the announcement or event.
Turning notifications on
The first time you log in, the app asks permission to send notifications. Tap Allow to receive them.
đĄ Tip: Notifications require a real phone or tablet, they don't work on simulators or in test builds.
Managing notifications later
Notifications are controlled by your device settings:
iPhone
Open Settings.
Scroll to My Gracely (or open Settings â Notifications â My Gracely).
Turn Allow Notifications on or off.
Android
Open Settings â Apps â My Gracely â Notifications.
Turn notifications on or off. You can also adjust individual channels such as Event Reminders and Announcements.
Not receiving notifications?
Make sure notifications are allowed for My Gracely in your device settings.
Confirm you're logged in, notifications are tied to your account.
Make sure you're on a real device, connected to the internet.
Reopen the app after changing permissions.
