Your Church Portal is made up of pages — Home, About, Events, and any others you add. This guide covers how to add, organize, and manage those pages from Portal Studio → Pages. To actually design what's on a page (text, images, and blocks), open it in the visual editor, which is covered separately.
Portal Studio is the tool for customizing your whole portal. For the full overview, see Customizing Your Church Portal (Church Portal Studio).
Opening the Pages manager
Open Portal Studio and go to the Pages tab.
Click Manage Pages.
Each of your pages appears as a card with a thumbnail preview. On each card you'll see:
Badges showing the page's status — In Nav (the page is in your navigation menu) and Default (a built-in page that comes with your portal).
The page's URL slug, shown as /slug (for example, /about).
Creating a new page
Click Create Page in the top right.
Choose a starting template:
Blank Page — start from scratch.
Home Page
About Us
Events Page
Give Page
Contact Page
The new page opens in the visual editor, ready for you to add your content.
💡 Tip: Templates just give you a head start — you can change, add, or remove anything on the page once it opens.
Page settings: title, slug, and navigation
Click the gear icon on a page to open its settings. You can edit:
Page Title — the name of the page.
URL Slug — the address of the page (the part after your portal URL, such as /about).
Show in Navigation Menu — toggle whether the page appears in your portal's navigation.
Click Save Settings when you're done.
💡 Tip: These are the only page-level settings — page title, URL slug, and show-in-nav. There's no separate SEO or meta field to fill in.
Reordering your pages
To change the order of your pages, drag a page card into the position you want. The new order saves automatically — there's no separate save button.
Deleting a page
To remove a page you created, click the trash icon on its card.
⚠️ Note: You can only delete pages you've added. The built-in Default pages that come with your portal can't be deleted.
Editing a page's content
Click Edit on a page to open the full visual editor, where you drag in blocks and edit text, images, and layout directly on the page. That editor — including the blocks you can add and how to style them — is covered in its own guide.
