This article shows you how to view and change the processing fee tier used for your online giving.
View & Change Your Giving Fees
You can reach the fee settings from either the Funds page or the Giving page:
Go to Funds (or Giving) from the left-hand menu.
Open the actions menu and click Configure online fees.
A side panel opens. Click Edit settings to make changes:
One-time transactions: select your preferred fee tier.
Recurring transactions: choose the extra recurring fee (0.5% or 0.7%).
Click Save settings to confirm, or Discard changes to cancel.
The available one-time tiers are 1.5% + $0.20, 1.5% + $0.25, 1.7% + $0.30, 2.2% + $0.30, 2.9% + $0.30 (the default), and 2.9% + $4.50.
⚠️ Note: These rates also appear in your Stripe account, since online card giving is processed through Stripe.
Tip for Nonprofits
If your church is a registered nonprofit, you can apply to Stripe's nonprofit program to qualify for a lower rate (for example, 2.2% + $0.30 instead of the standard 2.9% + $0.30). Once approved, come back here and select the matching lower tier — several reduced tiers are available, not just one.
