How to create a Follow-Up in Gracely

Creating follow-ups helps your church ensure effective pastoral care, member engagement, and organized outreach.

Here’s how you can quickly create a new follow-up in Gracely:

Step 1: Navigate to Follow-Ups

  1. Log into your Gracely account.

  2. In the left-hand sidebar, click on the Follow Ups tab, located just above the Events section.

Step 2: Assign a Follow-Up

Click the Assign Follow Up button located at the top-left.

Step 3: Fill Out Follow-Up Details

In the pop-up modal window, complete the following required fields:

  • Person(s): Start typing to search and select one or multiple church members from your existing database.

  • Assign To: Choose a responsible pastor or administrator from the dropdown list.

  • Follow-Up Date: Select the date for when the follow-up should occur.

  • Follow-Up Time: Choose the specific time for the follow-up.

  • Type: Specify the follow-up method from the options provided: Visit, Phone, or Message.

  • Action: Select the nature of the follow-up (e.g., Pastoral Care, Home Visit, Hospital Visit, First-Time Visitor, Baptism Preparation, Prayer Request, Event Invitation, Volunteer Opportunity, Membership Update, or Meeting Follow-Up).

  • Notes: Include any additional details or context about the follow-up.

Step 4: Save or Complete the Follow-Up

  • Click Save to schedule the follow-up.

  • Or, click "Mark as Done" if the follow-up has already been completed.

That's it! Your follow-up is now scheduled and will appear in your follow-up list, ensuring no member engagement slips through the cracks.
