How to Activate and Use Kiosk Mode
Activating Kiosk Mode
To enable and access Kiosk Mode for your events:
Navigate to the Calendar section.
Select the specific event you want attendees to check into.
Click the Check-In button on the event details page.
Within the Check-In interface, click on the Kiosk Mode option.
You'll be prompted to create or enter a unique Quick PIN.
This PIN adds security, ensuring only authorized individuals manage the kiosk.
Using Kiosk Mode
Once activated, Kiosk Mode provides two convenient methods for attendees to check in and out:
Phone Number Check-In & Check-Out:
Attendees approach the kiosk (tablet or PC station).
They enter their registered phone number into the provided field.
The kiosk displays the attendee’s name and event details.
The attendee presses Check-In to register attendance or Check-Out when leaving.
QR Code Check-In & Check-Out:
Attendees receive a unique QR code upon initial registration through your Church Portal.
They present their QR code at the kiosk for scanning.
The kiosk instantly recognizes the attendee.
Attendees quickly press Check-In or Check-Out to confirm their attendance or departure.
Security and Convenience
Quick PIN: Ensures kiosk security, restricting unauthorized access to your system.
Universal: Works seamlessly for both adults and children.
Versatile: Suitable for free events (Sunday services, meetings) and paid events (workshops, seminars, childcare services).
Important Notes
Ensure your kiosk devices (tablet or PC stations) have cameras enabled to scan QR codes effectively.
Keep your Quick PIN secure and accessible only to trusted team members.
